EcoEntreprise certification
EcoEntreprise certification is obtained following an independent external audit carried out by an accredited body. It is valid for 3 years (certification audit, then annual monitoring audits). Certification is based on the EcoEntreprise Standards (criteria/requirements).
A "pre-certification" level:
- The EcoEntreprise sustainable development approach is « in progress »:
allows full advantage to be taken of achievements / performance in the field of sustainable development /CSR. May be advertised for a maximum period of 2 years. Audit not required, but the organisation’s commitment to this must be made via a completed and signed “EcoEntreprise Form of Undertaking.”.
Three levels of certification are available :
- The EcoEntreprise "Sustainable development" Certificate : provides evidence of good achievement / performance in the field of Sustainable development.
- The EcoEntreprise "Sustainable development - Corporate Social Responsibility" Certificate: provides evidence of good achievement / performance in the fields of Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility (based on ISO 26000).
- The EcoEntreprise "Excellence" Certificate : Certificate Certificate: provides evidence of very high levels of achievement / performance in the fields of Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility (based on ISO 26000).
EcoEntreprise certification is recognised in public contracts / public tenders.
